Avalon Homes has been in business for over 20 years and is locally and privately owned and operated by Mitch Ammerman, its founder.  Mitch began his career as a framing contractor working with his family's construction company and in the early 80's, Mitch stepped out of the collaboration and began his own framing company.  As the company became more successful and repeat customers began to surface, Mitch found he had grown into an established residential general contractor and in 1989 Avalon Homes was incorporated.  Since then, Avalon Homes has designed and built custom single family homes and townhomes for hundreds of satisfied clients throughout the twin cities metro area.
